Quite often, the right questions are more important than their proper answers.
Q1. Can people not on gMail by Google read our Google blogspots?
Ans: Yes. But they seem unable to post/comment. Right?
(We tried -- without being in gMail -- and it prompts for something.)
Q2. How do we post a picture in? We will want to post plenty of pictures (in comments too.)
Ans: We are ready to learn.

UPDATE on comments, posts, customizing the blogspot

> who can view
> who can comment
And only the person creating the blogspot can 'post';
'authors' can then be 'invited in' to also post.
So a common setting is to let anyone in the world comment;
but only 'authors' can post and need to be invited in.
